In the summer we teach children in our fun, friendly heated home pool in Norfolk, VA and all year round we coach in the pool at Norfolk Recreation Center.
How we differ
- Our instructors are qualified and ready to get your little child splashing and kicking in the pool.
- Trained and certified in Red Cross's Water safety instruction, Swim America, Australian Swim School, and Infant Safety Rescue.
- Our instructors modify these theories to cater to each child's needs and each child is treated as if they were our own.
- Private and small groups for children ensure your child is getting the individual attention that is critical to their development particularly in those early stages.
Our Instructors
Our enthusiastic and dedicated swimming instructors just loving seeing smiling little faces in the pool at Katie's Kickers! They are passionate about teaching little swimmers a love for water and safety smarts.
All Katie's Kicker instructors are American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR certified.

Our swim instructors know every child by name and love talking to parents about their child's progress and confidence in the water.
